All of a sudden, Ari said,
"No, I don't want a piece of gum."

I was very confused so I said,
"I've never offered you a piece of gum."

"Oh... I thought you just did. You are mean.. I don't think I want you as my boyfriend anymore."

I thought it was simply ridiculous :)
