During advisory, Anna asked us(her advisees including me) if we have a good name for Soren's new sibling. I told her that naming the new baby after one of the composers would be cool, and she agreed, but I couldn't come up with a good composer who has a good name.
I: Hey, Stephen. I thought of some composers.
Stephen: ??
I: Frederic Chopin? Well, Anna didn't seem to like it though.
Stephen: Yeah... I don't really love it either. I think Ludwig is a really good name, but it's quite too prestigious.
I: Right.. I like Ravel, but Maurice is not a good name.
Stephen: Right... Maurice even with French accent does not sound good. I wouldn't name my child Maurice.
I: What about Gabriel after Gabriel Faure?
Stephen: Hmm. That's considerable. He has beautiful string quartets.
Our conversation went on but we could not figure a fine name; Stephen concluded that composers usually have bad names.
