Venom toasted his bagel in an oven-ish broiler (or an broiler-ish oven), for there were so many people waiting for the toaster. The fuse in the middleschool building soon went off after he used it.

Then they, the middle schoolers, attributed everything to Peter (some didn't even seem to know why Peter was being blamed, but they still complained 'something' to Peter. I suppose they tend to do things collectively) and said no more than one toaster can be used concurrently in the middleschoolbuilding.

I wasn't really annoyed by the fact that Peter was being yelled since he did temporarily disable the fuse. What annoyed me was rather the fact that I did not know what to call that machine.
Technically, I do not think the machine Peter used is called simply a 'toaster', but something little fancier. Am I being pedantic (Nora!) about toasters...?
