"Is that a joke?" I said.
"Yeah" he murmured.

I found his joke lame. I thought it'd be a type of joke that only elders would make. But I was wrong, Ryan made the same joke. I was disappointed deeply since the level of lamenees of his joke was, to me, poignant, considering he's much younger than Ron.
